Comedogenic Substances

"Comedogenic" refers to the potential of a substance or product to cause the formation of comedones, which are non-inflammatory skin blemishes like blackheads or whiteheads. Comedones occur when the hair follicles become clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and other debris, leading to the formation of a plug.
