MYOwn Colloidal Oatmeal Mask

Using Your Mask @ Home

Materials:

  • Colloidal oatmeal powder

  • Water or milk

  • Mixing bowl

  • Measuring spoon

  • Spoon for mixing

  • Optional: honey, essential oils, or other add-ins of your choice

Instructions:

Measure out 1-2 tablespoons of colloidal oatmeal powder into your mixing bowl.

  • Slowly add water or milk to the bowl, stirring constantly, until the mixture becomes a smooth paste. Aim for a consistency that is thick but spreadable.

  • If desired, add a teaspoon of honey or a few drops of your chosen essential oil and mix well.

  • Your colloidal oatmeal mask is now ready to use! Apply it to your face, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes or until it begins to dry.

  • To remove the mask, gently wash your face with warm water and a washcloth. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer to keep your skin soft and hydrated.

  • Colloidal oatmeal is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a great choice for those with sensitive or irritated skin.
